RUSH WATER SPORTS IS PROUDLY SUPPORTING – Clean the Seas project around Malta shoreline

Rush Water Sports Ltd is proudly supporting an initiative taken by online gaming company Mr. Green in its efforts to create awareness and clean the sea water from plastic waste at sea. The efforts will take place on a daily basis between 0800 and 1200 and will be focused on the open seas surrounding Malta and Gozo. This initiative was launched today at the Rush Water Sports base in Portomaso Marina, St. Julian’s.

Stefan Cachia, General Manager of Rush Water Sports, a subsidiary of Yachthub Group, said that this initiative is an important effort aimed at contributing towards a cleaner environment and a reduction in the irresponsible disposal of plastic matter and other debris.in the sea. Cachia also appealed for more responsible use of plastics and for non-disposal of plastic materials in the sea, as this is detrimental to the environment and ultimately we are all responsible in safeguarding our maritime environment. We all have to act now, so as to prevent more serious issues in the future. This is what inspired us to support this initiative.

Present for this launch were also Mr. Jesper Kärrbrink, CEO of Mr Green, Dr. Jose Herrera, Minister for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change and MGA Executive Chairman Joseph Cuschieri.
